Unfortunately, my last experience with this Enterprise has been my worst. The staff are generally very warm and accommodating. The service is usually pretty good:
First of all, the vehicle I reserved was not available, not even one comparable. Then the vehicle I settled for, didn't provide enough leg room, I'm tall, 6 foot 2 inches. Therefore, I had to wait for a vehicle to be brought from another site, which delayed the start of my trip and got me to my destination late. And the icing on the cake, after not taking the first vehicle, that rental was not canceled out. So when I got the second vehicle instead, two $313.00 deposits were held on my account for a total of $626.00. Who does a $626.00 deposit for one vehicle? That was the experience I had for a one day rental, from Friday to Saturday.
I have been to this location on several occasions, both for personal and business rentals and JOY and TREY are thee absolute BEST!!! They are always professional and courteous and they are always looking to better my experience when I come in whether it’s to swap out a vehicle I’m not pleased with or calling to see how I’m enjoying the rental, they’re always on point and very hard working! I haven’t had much interaction with the other agent that works there but he’s pleasant as well. But JOY and TREY deserve a bonus! The insurance company tried to suggest that I use Hertz for my rental and I told them I will not use anything other than Enterprise in Govans! My new favorite location!!!
This is my first time dealing with the new manager and while his words say he is trying to be responsive, the results are sub par. I have a number of incorrect charges on my card after having extended my rental. I called, spoke with someone and did not get a call back. When I called again, I was told it was all taken care of but was told there was no way to forward me a record of the correction. Are you kidding me--- how unprofessional. If that person gets transferred, I have no record of the correction. I was merely told to call back if there is a problem. Now I go to check my card and there is yet another incorrect charge on my card?!?! Crazy. Supposedly the company moved the last manager because the customer service numbers were not high enough---hah. She was so much more responsive and always delivered a quality rental. This first experience under the new leadership signals a real slippage in quality and service. Come on Enterprise Team ---- do not let yourselves plunge into the pool of mediocre and substandard service!!!
We often rent cars for travel and the rental experience at the Govans Enterprise location was by far the most polite, helpful staff we have encountered in years. The manager Dominic is an incredible asset to the Enterprise Company. With this type of service we will always continue to come back.
Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The accessible ramp entrance is a definite plus, and the car was very well suited to our needs and in perfect condition, brand-new: it had just come from the dealer! (So new, in fact, that the clock date & tone had not been set, but that was only a minor inconvenience.)
